Upstate NY Autism Awareness (UNYAA) is a not-for-profit organization formed by 3 local mothers of children with Autism.

Our mission is to make a real difference in the lives of children affected with Autism and other developmental disabilities by providing assistance, resources and education to families in our community.

Our goal is to raise awareness for the disorder and provide parents with the knowledge to help our children succeed in every way possible.

A 2007 report from the Center for Disease Control found that 1 in 150 children in America today have an autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

The Autism Society of America estimates that 1.5 million Americans and their families are now affected.

If one in 150 American children were being kidnapped,
we would have a national emergency.
We do ... AUTISM.
10 years ago, the rate of Autism was one in 3,000 children.

Today, One in 150 children is being diagnosed with
an Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
